Update Utility Account Information


We encourage the use of the self service functionality of the portal to make changes to one's utility account. The customer can go to Utilities.SouthBendin.gov to create an account where they can view their balance, update their mailing address and secondary party information (previously called third party).  



Who can update information on a utility account?

The account holder is authorized to create a user Id and password on the utility portal. They are able to grant guest access to secondary parties.


311 Process Notes

If the utility customer does not wish to use the portal or is not able to, please fill in the Service Form to capture the updated account information. Please ask for the changes to the account. Once submitted, this will go to a 311 CSR work queue to be completed and the notes and work order will show on the account.
