What are the guidelines for assisted pick-up?
- Container must be at the front of the home, visible from the street, and accessible for the driver by 6:00 AM on the day of service
- No containers will be collected in the alley
- All trash must be bagged and in the City container
- No trash will be picked from personal containers, recycling containers, or off the ground

Who is eligible for assisted trash pick-up?
Any resident paying for City trash services. In order to be on the assisted pick-up list, Solid Waste needs a letter of verification from a physician and a letter written by the resident. These letters need to state that the resident is not physically able to get the trash container to the front curb, and there is no other able-bodied person in the home to move the container.
