The Martin Luther King Jr Center "Made" program is a program created to end violence, keep children out of gangs and change lives by teaching the youth of today a more positive life style. The program offers workshops that are designed for training youth and adults in Violence Prevention and Intervention, Tutoring, Power Jams, Rights of Passage, Life Skills Training, Career Building and Adventure Programming.

The "Made" program has evening classes Monday through Wednesday.

Hours of operation are: Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. The center is closed Saturday and Sunday for special events and rentals. The center is also closed on Federal and State holidays. 

The Made program is dedicated to saving troubled youth from lives plagued by violence, gangs and crime.

The Made Staff consists of adults who function as parents, teachers and mentors, helping kids off the street and guide them into making positive life choices.
