Park Leaf Removal
Leaf removal in our park system is managed by the Facilities and Grounds division of Venues Parks & Arts. The Facilities and Grounds Division takes great pride in the City of South Bend park system and works hard to maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of those parks to the expectations of it's residents.
When is Park Leaf Removal provided?
Leaf removal in the City of South Bend park system is executed on an as needed basis in the fall. The Facilities and Grounds Division will clear leaves from parks on a rotational basis with an emphasis on high traffic parks and parks with abundant tree cover. During the fall season, parks will typically be addressed every one to two weeks.
How can I request the removal of leaves from a park?
In the event the presence of leaves is negatively impacting your experience in a park within the City of South Bend, a request can be made by calling 311.
