What is Amnesty Day?

The Common Council passed Ordinance Number 10471-16, which gives the City Clerk the ability to declare an annual Parking Ticket Amnesty Day, the one day per year when parking ticket (overtime only) late fees will be forgiven, allowing those with unpaid parking tickets to pay the original cost of the ticket only, potentially reducing total costs owed by 50%. 


Where is Parking Ticket Amnesty Day occurring?

Parking Ticket Amnesty Day is only honored for in-person visits at the Clerk’s Office on the 4th floor of the County-City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Bvld. between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.


When is Parking Ticket Amnesty Day?

Amnesty Day will occur on Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 30, 2021.


Who is involved in Parking Ticket Amnesty Day?

Unpaid parking tickets (overtime only) – no matter how late the payment is.
