Youth Basketball League

The VPA Youth Basketball League has been an immensely successful Venues Parks & Arts program. It is an instructional and recreational league. Children learn the basic skills of basketball with our volunteer coaches. Participants play two quarters each game and practice 1-2 times per week. We offer a Fall and Winter Session every year.

 

 


Who is eligible for Youth Basketball League?

The league is open to the public. Ages 5-8 have an instructional & recreational division, and ages 9-14 have a more competitive play that follows IHSAA rules.

How can I register for the Youth Basketball League?

For registration dates and times please call the O'Brien Center Mon-Fri 8 am to 4:30 pm at 574-299-4765. Registrations for the Fall session usually begin after Labor Day, and registrations for the Winter session begins in December.
