Hey everyone, I’m working on a new logo for a side project, and I feel totally stuck. I keep second-guessing myself about what works and what doesn’t. Are there common mistakes in logo design that I should watch out for? I’d love to hear from anyone with experience or tips—I really don’t want to mess this up, especially since this logo will represent everything the project stands for!

You’re definitely not alone! Logo design is tricky, and there are several mistakes that designers often make, especially when they’re just starting out. For example, using overly complicated designs, relying too much on trendy elements, or not thinking about how the logo scales can cause problems later. I came across a really helpful guide that covers these pitfalls in detail. It’s called logo mistakes, and it explains how to avoid these issues effectively. I recommend checking it out—it might save you a ton of frustration and help you create something both functional and timeless.

I totally get why you’d want to avoid those mistakes—it’s so easy to overlook things like scalability or timelessness when you’re focused on making something visually appealing. The guide shared sounds like a solid resource. I might check it out myself, since I’ve been thinking about updating my own logo for a personal project. Keep us posted on how your design turns out!
