Do I need a game day lawn parking permit?

If you live within City of South Bend limits and are planning on opening your lawn for parking during Notre Dame football games, you must obtain a one day or seasonal conditional use parking permit from the Ordinance Violation Bureau that must be visible on the day(s) it is being used.

Where do I get a game day lawn parking permit?

Purchase a permit in the Ordinance Violations Bureau, between the hours of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. until noon on the Wednesday before the game:

When are game day lawn parking permits available?

Lawn Parking Permits are provided during Notre Dame's football season, for every home football game day.

Lawn parking is only permitted for the specific days outlined in the permit.

How much does a game day lawn parking permit cost?

Daily Lawn Parking Permits

  • If parking nine (9) cars or less, the cost is $3.00 per parking space per day.
  • If parking ten (10) or more cars, the cost is a flat rate of $50 per day.

Application Fee

  • Season Pass: $25
  • If less than a season pass: $5.00 multiplied by number of games
